Our focus is on providing tailored care for women with healthcare solutions that address the specific needs of women navigating menopause and mid-life health challenges.
Appointments are offered for these health needs & more -
Perimenopause and Menopause treatment options for women of all ages (we would love to listen even if you've previously been told 'no' or that you are too old, or too young for menopause treatments)
You've been advised you have pre-diabetes, insulin resistance, deteriorating bone health (such as osteopenia/osteoporosis) or risk factors for heart disease and want to work to avoid these with minimal medications and lifestyle options.
You are struggling to get your routine screening checks completed due to lack of GP availability or would prefer see a female clinician (for example, cervical screening tests, including self-screening options for those eligible)
You just need basic contraception treatment/prescriptions/implanon or depo injections and find it hard to see your GP or prefer a female? (not including IUD's such as a Mirena)
You would like to quit smoking

Jervis Bay Health Choices is a privately owned and operated clinic. We do not routinely bulk-bill appointments, however, this may be agreed on an individual basis for pensioners/concession card holders and students under 18.
The fees and charges below are payable on the day of your appointment (including telehealth appointments)
We accept payment in the form of EFTPOS, debit or Credit Card (sorry on cash option currently)
Total funds must be available at the time of payment, and medicare rebates are returned to your nominated account by medicare.

Initial 60 minute appointments - $174.20, ($114.20 medicare rebate) cost to patient $60
Follow up 20-30 minute appointment - $89.25 ($51.25 medicare rebate) cost to patient $38
Follow up 45 minute appointments - $132.60, ($75.60 medicare rebate) cost to patient $57
Other charges -
Short assessment (less than 20 minutes)- $47.05, medicare rebate $27.05 cost to patient $20.00
Repeat prescription (no consult) - $10
$10 additional consumables change for procedures, e.g, implanon insertion or removal
Cancellation/non attendance fee (less than 6 hours notice) - $40
What is a Nurse Practitioner?
A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a Registered Nurse with the experience, expertise and authority to diagnose and treat people of all ages with a variety of acute or chronic health conditions. NPs have completed additional university study at a Master’s degree level and are the most senior and independent clinical nurses in our health care system.
The title "Nurse Practitioner" can only be used by a person who has been endorsed by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
National standards for practice ensure that Nurse Practitioners are capable of providing high quality, patient centred care.

On 1 November 2024, the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged care removed the legislated need for collaborative arrangements between participating midwives, nurse practitioners and medical practitioners to provide Medicare Benefits Schedule services and prescribe Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme medications .
